Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience working in school settings preferred

• Comfort working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluate students functional abilities and needs
• Develop, implement, and review individualized therapy plans that align with students educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other specialists to support student success in the classroom
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
• Monitor and document student progress, regularly updating plans as needed
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student participation and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reports
