Job Description

A contracted Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in a school setting in Beaufort, SC. This role focuses on delivering therapeutic interventions to assist elementary and middle school students in their educational environments across two campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy goals and support student success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share insights.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and the ability to integrate therapy within the school curriculum.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school age groups.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based in Beaufort, South Carolina.
  • Serving two school campuses within the area.
  • Contract runs from January through June of the current school year.
  • 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar year.
