A school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in Asheboro, NC, supporting school settings within the area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students under the direction of the schools OT framework.
- Provide supervision and guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Collaborate with educational teams to support Individualized Education Program (IEP) services.
- Assist and support an existing solo OT, ensuring cohesive service delivery across school sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state Occupational Therapist license is required.
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy is essential.
- Proven ability to perform school-based evaluations and participate effectively in IEP processes.
- Experience supervising COTAs is necessary.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills suited to school environments.
- Reliable transportation to various school sites.
