This contract position begins on August 7, 2026, and extends through October 15, 2026, with orientation dates scheduled for August 3rd and 4th. You'll work a steady 37.5-hour week, based in a single elementary building, allowing for meaningful connections and consistent support for your students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Illinois State License (IDFPR) as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Solid understanding of interventions for elementary-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to partner with teachers and families
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in dynamic school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create individualized support plans for students
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions in both group and one-on-one settings
• Work closely with educational staff to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings, as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for learning and growth
