An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to provide essential support within an early childhood education setting. This contract position is designed to cover a leave of absence, offering the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of young children with diverse needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy License
• Relevant experience in school-based or pediatric therapy
• Strong collaborative skills, particularly in interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

• Anoka, MN

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to early childhood students
• Collaborate with a team of three other Occupational Therapists in the Early Childhood Special Education program
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored therapy plans to address individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
• Engage with students and families to promote therapeutic goals and strategies
