Job Description

A position is available for a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in an educational setting in the Los Angeles area. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced OT seeking to provide comprehensive therapy services for the remainder of the school year, with a contract through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting student assessments and evaluations to determine occupational therapy needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
  • Attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student progress and goals
  • Delivering direct therapy services to a diverse pediatric caseload with a full range of disabilities
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and communicating effectively with staff and families

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy License is required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators and families
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload of approximately 35 hours per week

Location: Full-time position with on-site services in the Los Angeles area (including nearby cities). This role supports students across K-12 grade levels in a dynamic school district.
