Job Description

This full-time Occupational Therapist position supports students in grades K-6 across two elementary schools in Anaheim, CA. Working onsite from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, you will provide specialized therapeutic services within a K-12 school setting. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic educational environment during the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing their academic performance and daily functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to the creation of supportive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
  • Professional experience working as an Occupational Therapist or COTA within a school setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
