Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Orientation and Mobility license.
  • Demonstrated experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current district fingerprints required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and create customized orientation and mobility plans.
  • Conduct mobility training sessions, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student development.
  • Provide direct instruction in safe travel techniques and environmental awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.
