Orientation and Mobility Specialist Job Opportunity in Virginia

Sunbelt Staffing is currently partnered with a school district near Portsmouth, Virginia to locate a Full-Time Orientation and Mobility Specialist for this upcoming school year.

Job Requirements:

Certification from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) or equivalent.
A criminal history check is required prior to the start date.
Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.

Job Details:

Supporting approximately 14 students
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of students orientation and mobility skills.
Design and implement personalized mobility training plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
