In a supportive educational environment, professionals are sought to deliver crucial Orientation and Mobility services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This role is dedicated to enhancing the independence and safety of approximately 20 students, ensuring they receive the personalized guidance they need.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Orientation and Mobility Specialist license
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with disabilities
• Strong ability to write and develop IEP goals related to orientation and mobility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes

Location:
Greenville, SC

Responsibilities:

• Provide orientation and mobility assessments and training in accordance with IEPs
• Develop and implement O&M plans tailored to individual student needs
• Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring effective service delivery
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made
