Seeking a skilled Orientation and Mobility Specialist to provide essential support and guidance in a K-12 educational setting located in Glendale, AZ. This contract position focuses on empowering students with visual impairments through tailored mobility assessments and training, ensuring they achieve greater independence and success within the school environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Orientation and Mobility, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field.
• Certification from a recognized Orientation and Mobility organization.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly with K-12 students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to develop individualized mobility plans and implement appropriate strategies.

Responsibilities:
