An opportunity is available for skilled professionals specializing in Orientation and Mobility. This role focuses on supporting K-12 students by providing essential services that enhance their independence and navigation skills within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' orientation and mobility needs.
• Develop and implement individualized mobility plans tailored to each student.
• Provide direct training and support to students, fostering skill development.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure a comprehensive support system.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist.
• Experience working with K-12 populations preferred.

• Knowledge of mobility devices and assistive technology is an asset.

Location:

Located in Bridgeport, TX, this position involves working two days a week during the 2025-2026 school year, with a manageable caseload of 10 students.
