This position is designed for professionals dedicated to enhancing the well-being and academic success of high school students through targeted social-emotional support and individualized guidance.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
• Valid AMFT or LMFT license
• Experienced Clinical Counselors (LPCC) with a focus on school settings
• PPS credential holder in School Counseling or ERMHS Specialist
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Location: Escondido, CA (near Valley Center)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling focused on social-emotional development
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with IEP minutes
• Develop and implement classroom lessons related to social-emotional learning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
• Create a safe and supportive environment for students to express their concerns
