In this fulfilling, full-time contract role, youll provide critical 1:1 care for a student with specific medical needs, offering both encouragement and expert support. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active LPN license in Washington (WA)
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting preferred
- Comfortable providing medication administration and monitoring diabetic and epileptic conditions
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children and their families
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented educational environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, 1:1 health care for a student during the school day
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor for, and respond promptly to, hypoglycemic and epileptic episodes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and carry out care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough health documentation
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for your student
- Participate in school meetings as required and communicate changes or updates clearly
