This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN ASN) to serve as a Health Room Nurse in a school setting located in Saint Petersburg, FL, within the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The role involves independently managing the school health clinic while collaborating with other clinic nurses and reporting to the District RN Supervisor on health-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications in accordance with school policies.
• Perform student triage and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of student immunizations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and teachers regarding student health.
• Provide first aid and diabetic monitoring as needed.
• Work collaboratively within the school clinic team.
• Operate the school health clinic independently to ensure smooth daily functions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Florida LPN License or RN ASN credential.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work full-time during the school year.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required to maintain accurate records and coordinate with school staff and families.
