This contract position offers the opportunity to provide dedicated care to a student, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth. You will work closely with school staff and families, contributing your clinical skills and compassionate care to the educational community.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current MA LPN license or RN ASN credentials required
- Experience with tracheostomy care strongly preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing support to a student with a tracheostomy (no active intervention required)
- Monitor student health status and respond promptly to any changes
- Administer medications and perform routine nursing care as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with state and school regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school administration to support the students well-being
Role Details:
- Part-time mornings, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 2:00 pm, through June 23
- Summer hours: July 6 August 6, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am 12:30 pm
