Step into a vital role supporting student health and safety in a dynamic school environment! A contract opportunity near Fairfax, VA is available for a dedicated LPN who is passionate about making a difference for individual students. This onsite, 1:1 position allows you to work closely with a student, providing essential care and building meaningful connections within the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license required
• Experience with seizure management and first aid highly preferred
• Ability to administer seizure rescue medication as needed
• Comfortable riding the school bus with a student to ensure continuous care
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and parents
• Dependable and compassionate approach to student-focused care

Responsibilities:

• Monitor for and respond to seizure activity, providing immediate first aid as needed
• Administer seizure rescue medications safely and according to care plans
• Ride to and from school on the bus with the assigned student, ensuring health and safety throughout transit
• Maintain accurate records of care and communication with relevant members of the educational team
• Support a positive, inclusive environment conducive to each students health and well-being
