• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and consultation with parents
• Ability to motivate and support students with diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that address essential life skills, tailored to varying abilities within the high school population
• Draft, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal requirements
• Maintain ongoing consultation with staff and parents to coordinate student supports and accommodations
• Create an inclusive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes independence and personal development
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to foster growth
