This role requires a compassionate professional dedicated to facilitating effective communication and accessibility within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and clear interpreting services for students, staff, and families, ensuring effective communication within the classroom and school activities
• Prepare and transcribe materials in Braille as needed to support students with visual impairments
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and other support staff to accommodate students communication needs
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards related to interpreters and Braillists
• Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience or training as an Interpreter for K-12 educational settings

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
