Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students in a contract role for the current school year. Located in Andover, MN, the role requires specialized skills to assist students with diverse communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide interpretation services to facilitate effective communication between students, staff, and families.
  • Produce and manage Braille materials to ensure accessibility for visually impaired students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt educational content as necessary.
  • Support inclusive classroom environments through professional expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a qualified interpreter in educational settings.
  • Skilled Braillist with the ability to produce high-quality Braille documents.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 instructional methods and special education requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and educators.
