An opportunity is available for a dedicated Middle School Mathematics teacher specializing in 8th grade Algebra to contribute to student success in Springfield, MA. This full-semester contract position offers the chance to engage with young learners at the middle school level in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in 8th grade Algebra, aligned with curriculum standards.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and promote mathematical understanding.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in virtual panels for continued professional development.
• Maintain compliance with district policies, including necessary onboarding and fingerprinting procedures.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts MTEL license in Middle School Mathematics.
• Proven expertise in teaching Algebra to middle school students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Experience with virtual interview formats and readiness for a timely hiring decision.

Location: Springfield, MA (One middle school assignment)

Contract Details:

• Full semester contract starting January 6, 2026, until the end of the school year.
• Approximately 37.5 hours per week.
