This opportunity involves delivering high-quality math instruction to 7th through 12th grade students in a high school setting, either onsite in Roy, New Mexico, or virtually. The role focuses on teaching Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry using a well-structured curriculum in small class sizes, fostering personalized learning supported by a collaborative staff environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective instruction in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry to middle and high school students.
• Utilize virtual teaching platforms and classroom management techniques to engage students in a remote learning environment, if applicable.
• Adapt lessons to meet varied learning styles and provide academic support to enhance student achievement.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to maintain a positive and productive educational atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico Teaching Certificate (PED) is required.
• Math endorsement preferred; candidates with the ability to obtain this endorsement will be considered.
• Experience in teaching general education math courses and effectively managing virtual or in-person classrooms.

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Roy, New Mexico with an option to work virtually.
• Contract duration covers the full 2025/2026 school year.
• 32 hours per week, with Fridays off, allowing for work-life balance.
