Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience or strong interest in K2nd grade education
- Solid foundation in general education principles and instructional strategies

- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver standards-based instruction to K2nd grade students, adapting lessons to meet students needs
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with school and state curriculum guidelines
- Assess student growth through both formative and summative methods, and modify teaching approaches accordingly
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages student participation
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and engagement
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in professional learning communities
- Communicate consistently with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth

Compensation for this position ranges from $22.00 to $35.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
