Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Previous experience or strong interest in K2nd grade education

• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver standards-based instruction to K2nd grade students, adapting lessons to meet students needs
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with school and state curriculum guidelines
• Assess student growth through both formative and summative methods, and modify teaching approaches accordingly
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages student participation
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and engagement
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in professional learning communities
• Communicate consistently with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for growth
