A full-time teaching opportunity is available for an experienced Elementary Education Teacher with a focus on English Language Arts (ELA) to instruct 5th-grade students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to general education classrooms in a supportive environment.
Location: Rockford, IL
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging ELA instruction to two 5th-grade classes
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to promote literacy and language skills
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes
- Participate in professional development and mentorship programs to refine teaching methods
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in elementary education
- Proven ability to effectively teach English Language Arts within general education settings
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

- Experience teaching 5th grade preferred
