Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement for elementary education
- Experience or strong interest in teaching at the 2nd-grade level
- Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering academic and social growth among students
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons to 2nd-grade students
- Assess student understanding and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom culture
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to support student success
- Participate in school-based activities, meetings, and ongoing professional growth opportunities

Compensation for this position ranges from $22.00 to $35.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
