This contract opportunity runs the full 2026-2027 school year, with a start date in early August and assignments through late May. Key Qualifications:

• Valid NM PED teaching license required
• Experience as a General Education Teacher in a K-12 setting preferred
• Flexible to work with elementary, middle, or high school students
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to complete all onboarding requirements, including a background check prior to the start date

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver general education curriculum to assigned classes within the K-12 range
• Foster a positive classroom culture that supports student learning and growth
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
• Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Communicate consistently with parents and caregivers as needed
• Uphold school policies and procedures
• Attend meetings or professional development sessions as required

This position offers a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the unique experience of engaging with students at a dynamic charter school. Teachers will be assigned to one or more grade levels depending on needs and background.
