A part-time General Education Teacher position is available to support an afterschool program focusing on reading and math intervention and tutoring for K-8 students. This role is ideal for educators passionate about helping students improve foundational skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Location: Des Plaines, IL
Position: General Education Teacher (K-8)
Type: Contract, school year
Hours: Part-time, approximately 7.5 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver targeted reading and math tutoring to K-8 students to address individual learning needs
• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with general education standards
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere during the afterschool program
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student success
