An opening opportunity is available for a General Education Pre-K Teacher to support early childhood learning in an elementary school setting located in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract position runs for the current school year and involves teaching young learners aged pre-kindergarten, providing foundational education in a nurturing environment.
Role Details:
- Position: General Education Pre-K Teacher
- Location: Arlington Heights, IL
- Hours: 32 hours per week
- Days: 5 days per week
- Age Group: Pre-Kindergarten students
- Duration: Contract for current school year
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Pre-K Teaching Certification
- Strong understanding of early childhood education methods and practices
- Experience working with pre-kindergarten age group preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver developmentally appropriate general education curriculum to Pre-K students
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Assess and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student learning and development
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs of young students
