This opportunity is for an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support a high school caseload in Carlsbad, NM, from January 2026 through May 2026. This contract position focuses solely on conducting evaluations and provides a valuable travel experience within the school district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive educational assessments and diagnostic evaluations for high school students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to interpret assessment results and support individualized education plans
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with state and district regulations
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification/license
• Proven experience in conducting educational evaluations for high school students
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and reporting requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with school staff and families
