Job Description

An Educational Diagnostician position is available for a K-12 school located in Plano, TX. This is a contracted role for the full school year (NSY), focusing on assessing and evaluating students learning and developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and diagnostic evaluations for students K-12
  • Interpret test data to identify learning disabilities and educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide recommendations for intervention strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, educational laws, and special education programming
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interpret evaluation results and develop appropriate recommendations
