A K-12 Educational Diagnostician position is available for a full contract school year, located in Kirtland, NM. This role offers an opportunity to work directly with diverse student populations to support their unique educational needs through detailed assessment and collaboration with families and educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to identify student exceptionalities.
• Compile thorough diagnostic reports that include pre-diagnostic information, test results, student strengths and weaknesses, and recommended interventions.
• Complete at least 65 evaluations each school year.
• Manage diagnostic resources including the inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Participate actively in Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) meetings, parent and teacher conferences, and in-service training sessions.
• Maintain clear communication and documentation to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in a relevant field.
• Valid NMPED Educational Diagnostician K-12 license (900).
• National Board Certification for Educational Diagnostician preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.

Location: Onsite in Kirtland, NM, serving multiple school sites with a standard 37.5-hour workweek.
