Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree required
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate
  • Minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience
  • State certification as an Educational Diagnostician (must pass certification exam)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential
  • Prior experience in school-based settings
  • Availability for full-time, onsite work (35 hours weekly, MondayFriday)
  • Ability to successfully complete fingerprinting and credentialing requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students across age groups
  • Prepare detailed, accurate reports based on testing and observations
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and ARDs
  • Provide consultative support to educators and families to enhance student success
  • Work itinerantly, engaging with students and staff at two district schools
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
