In this full-time, onsite role located near Elgin, IL, youll work with children and collaborate with school staff to create accessible, engaging learning environments. This contract opportunity enables you to make a direct impact throughout the school year, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Illinois DHH License
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience in teaching or providing services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Collaborative mindset and adaptability to various student needs

What You'll Do:

• Deliver direct and consultative support services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Adapt curriculum to support students individualized educational plans
• Foster inclusive classroom environments and promote student self-advocacy skills
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop tailored learning strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
