A full-time School Counselor position is available at an elementary school in San Francisco, CA, for the 20252026 school year contract, running from January 6 to May 30, 2026. This role involves providing counseling services to elementary-aged students, working closely within a supportive school environment with a manageable caseload of one school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver school counseling services to elementary students, addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement student support plans
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
• Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in School Counseling is required
• Experience working within an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
• Ability to conduct sessions and collaborate both onsite and remotely as preferred by the district

Work Details:

• Location: San Francisco, CA (elementary school)
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Contract duration: January 6, 2026 May 30, 2026
• Supervision provided by district personnel as appropriate
• Onsite interview preferred; remote interviews are also accommodated
