Job Description
A licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist is sought for a contract position in a Manchester, NH elementary school setting. This role involves supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges (EBD) and offers a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, spread over three days. The caseload will consist of approximately 12 high school students, providing targeted counseling and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized counseling and support to students with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
- Adhere strictly to licensing requirements and ethical guidelines
Qualifications:
- Current and valid licensure as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist (Statements of Eligibility will not be accepted)
- Experience working with emotional and behavioral disorder populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively
