Job Description

A part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Whittier, CA. This contract position offers a chance to work with an elementary caseload, providing vital therapeutic services to students. The role is onsite and requires school-based experience along with an active California license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support student development and success
  • Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

  • Active California COTA license
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school-based setting
  • Familiarity with elementary-aged caseloads
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work onsite and engage effectively with students and staff

Position Details:
