Job Description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) skilled in supporting PreK-12 students across multiple school sites. This position is designed for a flexible, resourceful professional who enjoys working collaboratively with school teams and adapting to a dynamic caseload.

Youll provide vital therapeutic support to students from preschool to high school age, serving as a floater across several locations near Westfield, MA. Anticipated weekly hours are 29, with potential adjustment to 30 based on program needs. The position starts in early September 2026 and continues through the end of June 2027.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid COTA license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Knowledge of school-age child development and evidence-based OT interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working with a range of age groups (PreK-12)
  • Flexibility to float between sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists and education teams to develop and implement individualized plans for students
  • Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions, both group and one-on-one
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Adjust approaches to meet the evolving needs of a diverse student caseload
  • Rotate between multiple school locations, ensuring consistent coverage and support
