This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students. The role is part-time, offering 20-25 hours per week to provide occupational therapy services to an elementary school caseload. The position is contract-based, starting immediately and continuing through June 12, 2026, at an onsite school location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with various needs at the elementary level.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student development and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation consistent with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Demonstrated experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings.
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational teams.
- Availability for an initial interview via Zoom.
