An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities, ensuring they receive the therapeutic guidance needed to achieve their IEP goals. The position is based in Holbrook, AZ, and runs from August 4th to May 22nd, requiring a commitment of 3.5 days per week.

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona COTA License
• Experience in providing occupational therapy in school settings
• Understanding of IEP processes and collaboration with educational staff
• Ability to document progress and maintain treatment records
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

• Holbrook, Arizona

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly or through consultation
• Address student needs in range of motion, sensory strategies, and motor activities
• Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom interventions
• Participate in IEP and MET meetings to advocate for occupational therapy
• Train and support school staff as necessary
