Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support students in a K-12 school setting. This role involves working closely with children to enhance their daily living skills and overall educational experience through therapeutic practices.

Location: Sandy, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and progress.
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide input on student needs and support.

Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon COTA license.
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation.
