Job Description

An opportunity is available for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants seeking to contribute to a K-12 educational environment. This role involves providing essential therapeutic services to students, ensuring that each individual receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado state license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Previous experience in school-based therapy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Proficient in tracking student progress and documenting outcomes.

Location:

  • Rifle, CO

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a student caseload of 45-50, ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services as outlined in IEPs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student needs.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy goals as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' needs and progress.
