This contract opportunity will allow you to use your expertise in school-based therapy, collaborating closely with educators and families to help children aged 3-5 build essential skills for their growth and independence. Qualifications:
- Current, active Pennsylvania COTA license required
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in therapeutic interventions for young children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one and in group settings with preschool students, delivering tailored occupational therapy interventions
- Assess students' needs and assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and related service providers
- Track and document student progress, updating reports and communicating with families and school staff as appropriate
- Adapt therapy activities to support diverse learning styles and abilities
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and attend multidisciplinary meetings as needed
