Job Description

Four full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are needed to support school-aged students in a dynamic K8 educational setting in Phoenix, AZ. This contract role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week with an immediate start and continues through May 27, 2026. The positions involve working in dedicated therapy environments across two Phoenix locations (85017 and 85033), with possible travel between sites compensated accordingly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed OT
  • Implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Documenting therapy sessions promptly and accurately
  • Assisting with supervision of the OT caseload
  • Participating in IEP meetings and supporting goal achievement within the school community
  • Collaborating closely with on-site OTs, special education teams, and district supervisors
  • Maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality at all times

Preferred qualifications:

  • Active Arizona COTA license
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • School-based experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • New graduates encouraged to apply; comprehensive supervision and support provided

The role offers a supportive environment with district-provided supervision and opportunities to work across multiple school sites. A caseload model will be tailored to best suit individual candidates.
