Job Description

Engage your expertise in a dynamic educational environment as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with K-12 students, providing essential therapeutic support and services from August 2025 to June 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering the developmental needs of students

Location:

  • Navasota, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student needs
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Implement therapeutic activities designed to enhance student skills in daily tasks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
