An opportunity is available for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in an educational setting. This contract position offers hands-on experience working within a school environment, contributing to the development and success of children across a wide range of ages and needs.
Located in Manistee, MI, this role involves collaboration with educators, therapists, and families to implement therapy plans designed to improve students functional abilities and participation in school activities. The position is ideal for a COTA with a passion for pediatric care and educational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of K-12 students
- Collaborate with licensed therapists and school personnel to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
