Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to contribute to a dynamic educational environment in College Station, TX. This role involves working with K-12 students, providing essential therapeutic services that support their individual needs from August 2025 to June 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas COTA License
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other healthcare professionals
  • Commitment to student success and wellbeing

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
  • Assess student needs and develop tailored therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding occupational therapy
