Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) School-Based Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview
Four full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) positions are available in a dynamic K-12 school setting in the Phoenix metropolitan area. These contract roles are scheduled for 35 hours per week with guaranteed hours, starting immediately and continuing through May 27th, 2026. The positions involve providing therapy services to school-aged students (primarily K8) with a focus on direct treatment, documentation, and assisting with caseload supervision under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under licensed OT supervision
• Provide direct therapy services to students in need of support
• Complete timely, accurate daily therapy notes and documentation
• Assist with IEP goal implementation and actively participate in team meetings
• Collaborate closely with on-site OTs and special education teams
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional conduct in the school environment
• Travel between multiple school sites in Phoenix may be required (paid travel if applicable)

Qualifications

• Active Arizona COTA license required
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
