Providing essential nursing assistance in K-12 educational settings requires both compassion and professionalism. This opportunity is for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to deliver specialized care to a middle school student in Norwich, CT. The role involves working closely within a school environment to ensure the student's health and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing assistance to a 6th-grade student, addressing medical needs and daily health routines
Monitor and document the students condition and communicate effectively with school staff and healthcare professionals
Assist in managing medications, treatments, and any necessary medical equipment as prescribed
Support the students participation in classroom activities by fostering a safe, inclusive environment
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and healthcare regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required

Location and Schedule:

Norwich, CT
Contracted position for the current school year (CSY)
15 hours per week, Monday through Friday
