A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the Meadowood Program serving K-8 students with moderate to severe cognitive abilities at a K-12 school in Wilmington, DE. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, requiring on-site work.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Conducting functional behavior assessments to identify triggers and design effective strategies
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support positive behavioral outcomes
- Collecting and analyzing data to track progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Providing training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques
- Ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and district policies
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Delaware state licensure, with school experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with children with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time through the contract duration
