Job Description

In a supportive educational environment in Somerville, MA, professionals will work with early childhood students exhibiting behavioral needs. This contract position focuses on providing individualized support as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or paraprofessional, fostering positive learning experiences for one-on-one students.

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts RBT certification or relevant experience as a paraprofessional
  • Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with early childhood education preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with educators and other support staff to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and strategies used
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
